Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. Growing up, she listened to many traditional music as well as old boleros. Also, she listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic shows. At the age 16, she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense singing instruction. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. When she moved to the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present residence in southern California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. She is involved with many local initiatives in both teaching and performer because of her passion for art and music. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher of the Performance Loft. Ana thanks Inland Master Chorale members for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
