Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines and is now an Filipino American performer, comedian, television host and model. Her organs failed in multiple ways, and her kidneys were not able to recuperate. The new norm was the peritoneal, and later hemolysis. After 80 days of hospitalization, at a point when she was close to death, and began the lengthy road to health. The way she lived her life was forever altered. Angelica had been on dialysis for a year-and-ahalf before finally being able for the biggest procedure of her life: a transplant of the kidney. The donor kidney from her mom. Angelica Hale along with her mother went through the transplant of a kidney at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and the Children's Hospital of Atlanta Egleston on September 13th 2013.
